The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for shuttling ImageFIRST products between our Laurel Maryland and Clifton, New Jersey locations   Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Scan packages at shipping sites and ensure proper shipping - Load and unload sheet carts during delivery and pick up - Comply with company safety policies and guidelines relating to safety and operation of commercial motor vehicles and overall safe work practices - Work closely with Plant Manager and Production Supervisors to ensure product needs are met - Unload clean and reload soiled linens onto the truck in NJ (approximately 20 carts) - Decontaminate truck Schedule: - Monday – Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. - The shuttle leaves the plant at 11:30 p.m. and arrives in NJ at 2:00 a.m. The Driver will not need to load at pickup in Columbia - Leave New Jersey around 3:30 a.m. if not earlier and arrive back in Columbia at 6:00 a.m - Assistance will be given to unload the truck and then the Driver will decontaminate it - The truck will get loaded with clean product as it becomes available MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Must have at least two years of truck driving experience - Must possess Driver’s License (Class C)  - Clean Driving Record  - Able to push, pull 15-20 sheet carts 2 x a day. The primary purpose of Linen Tech position is to represent Faultless Linen on site by delivering clean linen carts to the floor, potentially picking up dirty linen and ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient. All linen must then be recorded for billing and accountability.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage in-house inventory levels in each departments - Exchange carts -Count all linen on the carts and bring them back up to the par level before delivering them -On incoming carts, ensure that the par levels are on the cart and take them to their distribution point. - Floor carts: -Load inventory on carts to be distributed to the units -Count all linen on unit carts and replace items to correct PAR levels -Sign off on the unit cart checklist -Record data utilizing the appropriate method (i.e. tablets, order sheets) - Interface professionally and effectively with people at the hospital; nurses, nurse managers, clinicians, Central Supply, Materials Manager and the Environmental Service Department. - During the day with exchange carts -First thing go to the floors with the full, clean carts and bring down the carts that were used the day before. -Return to the locations and make all the counts for the areas that don’t have their own carts, inventory them, fill the order and take them back up to the floor. -Fill up both carts and take them up there and re-stock to par level. - During the day without exchange carts -First thing build carts to take to units to rebuild unit carts -Count all linen on unit carts and replace items to the correct PAR levels -Record this data as mentioned above. - Maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the inventory room at all times. This would include in some cases dust and wet moping the floors - Handle all routine duties and special calls for linen - Problems – running out of Linen – someone goes above usage, - contact Service Manager if linen supplies not sufficient in the inventory room. - Converse with driver – see if there are any special needs. Spend considerable time with the account rep – collaborate on issues, inventory levels. - Well represent our Company as well as the client’s Company – exhibiting sound values. - Must be able to build and maintain solid professional relationships.
