Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical and mechanical background to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of our production equipment. The ideal Associate will have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, program and troubleshoot PLCs, and maintain and repair systems involving pneumatics, motors, and control systems.

 

Schedule: 430am - 1pm - Monday to Friday

Compensation Range: $38 - $45 /DOE

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment, including automated systems.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Resolve equipment jams on production line
  • Work with pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and air compressors.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems to reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with Production teams on equipment upgrades and improvements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working knowledge and theory of high voltage and low voltage equipment and wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • High school diploma or equivalent or technical school training preferred
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
  • Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts is required
  • Ability to work with scissor and boom lift at ceiling heights
  • Experience in the laundry industry is desirable but not required

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
  • Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds
  • Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
