Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the performance of preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery
  • Assist with and learn to troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
  • Clean equipment daily to keep in optimal condition
  • Assist with the ordering of machinery parts
  • Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
  • Communicating with operators and management
  • Keep a clean and maintained work area
  • Ensure equipment is off when not in use
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Follow correct Lock Tag Out procedures

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to comprehend technical manuals and communicate effectively with technical support.
  • Familiar with working in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems or piping systems
  • Ability to operate a man lift and forklift
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
  • Ability to lift to 30 pounds required
