The General Manager, Continuous Improvement, Northeast Region is a key leader responsible for designing, evolving, and scaling the company’s operating playbooks to drive consistent execution across all business units. Reporting to the CFO of our Specialty Outpatient Division, this role ensures Leadership has and deploys the tools, processes, and requisite support to run high-performing operations, manage KPIs, and deliver on growth and profitability goals. The leader will partner cross-functionally to embed best practices, enable accountability, and promote operational excellence through continuous refinement of the General Management operating model.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operating Model Adoption & Execution Support
    • Drive consistent adoption and effectiveness of the playbook through training, onboarding, coaching, and toolkits.
    • Monitor to identify, communicate and close execution gaps through diagnostics, feedback loops, and playbook refinements.
  • Performance Analytics & Accountability
    • Develop and maintain reporting and metrics to measure playbook effectiveness, leadership adherence, and its impact to our financial metrics.
    • Lead targeted interventions to uplift underperforming locations or teams.
  • Operating Model Refinement
    • Partner with key stakeholders to continuously improve the GM Playbook (a standardized framework of operational, financial, and leadership best practices).
    • Codify proven processes, key performance indicators, decision rights, and management cadences across operating units.
    • Translate corporate strategy into actionable operational guidance for GMs.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Integration
    • Partner with leaders in Service, Finance, HR, Operations, Strategy, IT, etc. to ensure the playbook aligns with enterprise priorities and functional capabilities.
    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and replication of successful initiatives across regions or business lines.
    • Establish an operating rhythm for reviewing performance and calibrating execution against the playbook.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years in operational leadership, general management, or strategy roles in multi-unit or decentralized businesses
  • Experience in driving enterprise-wide operating models or playbooks preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience managing KPIs, dashboards, and business reviews
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills at the executive level
  • Experience leading through influence in matrixed, cross-functional environments
  • Comfort with ambiguity and strong bias for structured thinking and execution
  • Ability to travel 40% to 50% within the Northeast.
