ImageFIRST seeks a Procurement Manager of Indirect Spent.

 

Location: Chicago, IL or King of Prussia, PA

 

 

The Procurement Manager of Indirect Spend will lead the procurement of products utilized to support the company’s daily operations. The role will expand the historic ImageFIRST scope of procurement to drive more disciplined management of spend responsibility over several areas including (but not limited to) wash chemicals, packaging products, Safety/PPE, Office Products and more. Responsibilities include supplier selection, supplier programs, supplier RFP/awards, strategic sourcing and supplier development, managing product specifications, product testing, acquisition cost, and savings tracking. Key goals will include measurable field adoption and governance.

The role will report to the Sr. Director of Procurement. Key collaborating functions will include Procurement Operations, Supply Chain, Fulfillment Centers, Engineering, Transportation, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. This role will harness development/discipline, analytics, negotiation and communication to drive towards key departmental goals.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITES:

 

· Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, establish and maintain supplier relationships, and manage ongoing performance and supplier development.

· Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including conducting RFPs and related sourcing events.

· Evolve and expand our core products in a disciplined manner to support internal plant/corporate operations.

· Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks such as supply disruption and cost fluctuation.

· Apply a data-driven focus to SKU/supplier rationalization and assortment expansion with intent on driving consistency, operational efficiency, and improved service across Operations.

· Partner with Procurement Operations and Supply Chain to drive field communication and configure supplier catalogs with curated items

· Manage item master data including setup, item changes, availability, and plant location access.

· Support the conversion of decentralized processes to new corporate procurement processes in Oracle Fusion.

· Curate and maintain procurement-related information on the internal intranet platform.

· Lead and manage remote work, maintaining a presence at an ImageFIRST facility at least three days per week (preferred).

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

· A minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, category management or strategic sourcing

· Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and across remote platforms.

· A demonstrated track record of achieving impactful results in procurement and strategic sourcing.

· Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring strong multitasking skills.

· Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint expertise.

· Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments and functional areas of the organization to drive synergies.

· Willingness to travel up to 20% for the position's requirements.
