Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Operations Manager supports service and production to maintain ImageFIRST’s position as the industry leader in cost-effective solutions for great patient satisfaction. There are two primary priorities of this role: 1) Manage healthcare linen transportation including fleet and hourly labor. 2) Lead inventory control efforts and drive reductions in material cost through disciplined data review and communication with the service and production teams. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage effective transportation with the local ImageFIRST fleet 

  • DOT Compliance & Training  

  • Manage Production Reporting related to inventory control 

  • Lead merchandise control meetings 

  • Inspect hospital data on linen utilization to provide service and production with guidance for inventory control 

  • Lead process to accurately weigh in and weigh out soiled and clean healthcare linen 

  • Produce hospital specific scorecards around effective linen utilization 

  • Promote safety (Driver safety, blood born pathogen safety, etc) 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 

  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment 

  • Understanding of report and performance tracking mechanisms 

  • Strong organizational and presentation skills 

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up, creativity, problem solving, conflict management, written and oral communication skills 

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills 

  • Independent work ethic 

  • Proficient with MS Office, general PC applications
