Responsibilities & Qualifications

Due to growth, we are looking for a Human Resource Generalist based out in Maverick, TX. We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to manage HR functions at our local Maverick, TX plant, including performance management, employee relations, recruiting, community giving, and more. As a HR Generalist, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the ImageFIRST culture, ensuring compliance, and driving employee engagement while partnering closely with both local leadership and corporate HR teams. 

 

Pay range: $65,000 - $75,000 (depending on experience) + Yearly bonus based on KPIs

Schedule: Monday - Friday (On-site), 8:00am -5:00pm

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Oversee all local HR requirements in partnership with the leadership team, including Performance Management, Employee Relations, Associate Engagement, Community Giving, Recruiting, Safety/Compliance, and some Payroll and Benefits responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Human Resources team to ensure alignment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of business and personnel information.
  • Manage local payroll processes in collaboration with the Payroll Manager, utilizing ADP Time and Attendance Programs.
  • Handle new hire, termination, and payroll change paperwork for all employees.
  • Recruit and hire production associate workers.
  • Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities and maintain the local Community Giving program.
  • Administer benefits, including disseminating benefit packets and assisting with Benefits Open Enrollment
  • Responsible for all Leave of Absence administration, including FMLA, PLOA and MLOA, as well as on-site coordinator for Workers Comp filings.
  • Assist in the compliance and posting requirements of our safety program with the Leadership Team 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience required; experience in recruiting is a plus. 
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus. 
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to work on-site Monday-Friday in St. Louis, MO plant. 
  • Proficient with ATS systems (ICIMS preferred) and HRIS software (e.g., ADP, Dayforce); ability to quickly learn new HR and talent management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
