Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join our team. The L&D Manager will be responsible for identifying, designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and project management skills to drive cross-functional collaborations that foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning strategies and programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design and deliver engaging e-learning courses, workshops, and other training materials.
  • Assess individual and organizational development needs through surveys, interviews, etc.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs and support career development.
  • Manage budgets and relationships with external vendors and consultants.
  • Manage learning platforms, track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Lead and mentor a team of L&D specialists.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, communication, psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in learning and development or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing e-learning courses across all audiences.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Train the Trainer and Leadership Development programs.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and assess training effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and other digital training tools (i.e., Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360, Adobe, Camtasia, Cornerstone)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Certification in Learning and Development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM).
  • Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.
