Responsibilities & Qualifications

This position will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and leading a team of Director of Hospital Sales.  This person will report to the President of our Hospital Division. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the DOHS in specific defined markets.
  • Develop key relationships with key hospital prospects.
  • Ensure DOHS is following sales process.
  • Achieve quarterly targeted new business growth goals.
  • Ensure weekly sales reports are accurate.
  • Inspect what we expect – metric reviews. 
  • Proposal review and approval.
  • Agreement review, negotiation, and approval with help from SVP.
  • Expense report review and approval.
  • Commission report review and approval with SVP final approval.
  • Work with SVP on strategic sales plan.
  • Ensure DOHS follows pre-install and install guidelines.
  • Conduct weekly debriefs with DOHS.
  • Work with DOHS on forecasting and maintaining required hotlist.
  • Lead by example.
  • Occasionally run group sales call / conduct training.
  • Conduct business reviews for respective markets.
  • Consistent field rides with DOHS.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5-7 years hospital sales experience
  • 10 years professional experience in health care
  • 5-7 years sales leadership experience
  • Experience with contract negotiations
  • Ability to manage long term relationships and networking skills
  • Comfortable dealing with VP level and above
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Minimum Travel requirement 50% (by car or air depending on territory)
