Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking a Sales Support Intern to join our growing team at our Corporate Headquarters in King of Prussia, PA. This will be a paid internship opportunity with the goal to convert to a permanent position and will require 25 hours per week. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle incoming calls and website inquiries with professionalism, enthusiasm, and efficiency. The Sales Support Intern will play a crucial role in engaging with potential new business opportunities, providing exceptional customer service, and effectively liaising with the sales team to ensure seamless lead management and conversion.

 

Start Date: As soon as possible 

Schedule: Part-Time, Hybrid, 25 Hours Per Week (Flexible to school schedules)

Compensation: $17.00 hourly

 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls and website inquiries, effectively engaging with potential new business opportunities and providing accurate information about our products or services.
  • Engage with potential leads in a friendly and professional manner, actively listening to their needs and directing them to the appropriate local representative.
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Provide detailed and accurate lead information to the sales team for follow-up and further nurturing.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team regarding lead status, feedback, and any specific requirements or challenges.
  • Generate reports on lead activity, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and service divisions, including account set up, pricing updates, and cost analysis to support a growing sales organization currently with 100 sellers
  • Provide reporting, data analysis and support to expedite workflows, automate processes, and improve the precision of manual processes where needed
  • Ad hoc requests as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year in sales or customer service-oriented role preferred 
  • Positive, customer service-oriented role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to navigate competing priorities
  • Must enjoy a fast paced, deadline driven work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes is a plus
