Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our growing company!

Shift: Monday - Friday Occasionally Saturday

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the installation of facility machinery parts
  • Assist with the performance of preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery
  • Move product as needed to facilitate production processes
  • Assist with and learn to troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
  • Learn and assist with the program of PLC's
  • Assist with the ordering of tools and machinery parts
  • Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
  • Communicate with operators and management
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
  • Daily equipment upkeep/safety inspections
  • Responsible for communicating with other departments to assist with production
  • Associate will be crossed trained in multiple areas to help as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiar with one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems, and PLC programming
  • Ability to learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
