Responsibilities & Qualifications

Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a District Manager - Route Sales to join our healthcare commercial laundry team in San Diego, CAThe ideal candidates will have route sales/route management or hospitality industry experience and at least 3 years of experience managing people. 


Our outstanding Service teams are a big part of the reason we successfully maintain customer retention rates of over 95%. Our service teams are interacting with our customers every day, delivering patient gowns, scrubs, lab coats, linens and more to our customers in medical offices, outpatient centers, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Our Service Managers call on customers to ensure that they are consistently receiving excellent customer service. The primary focus of this position is to manage, direct, and develop all quality initiatives and aspects related to customer relations and service management.

  • Hire, train, develop and coach service/route sales team; daily coaching, training and monitoring of route performance through check-in process
  • Daily execution of all service routes and customer interactions
  • Route Logistics – Routing of Accounts
  • Daily merchandise control of all clean and soiled products
  • Manage daily account functions: (audits, scrub counts, route reconciliations, truck maintenance logs, linen reconciliation etc.)
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of daily invoices; manage invoice reconciliation, invoice printing and report monitoring
  • Ensure service team compliance to company service and quality standards
  • Manage all daily productivity and performance expectations
  • Manage and maintain a recurring revenue stream
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum of 3 years of route management or hospitality experience, including people management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent managerial experience preferred
  • Ability to manage and maintain a recurring revenue stream
  • A clean driving record
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work ethically and independently
  • Able to analyze sales opportunities and determine customer needs 
  • Able to develop route structure based on new accounts and expansion
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, motivational, and customer service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, creativity, problem solving, conflict management, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to interpret reports and performance tracking mechanisms
  • Will  have high energy with the ability to multi-task


  • Ability to manage a route environment
  • Ability to train new hires as needed
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Ability to tolerate moderate traffic scenarios on a weekly basis
  • Ability to manage and maintain a consistent physical work flow
  • Position requires strong time management skills as well as a results oriented service mentality
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant and positive attitude under unpleasant and diverse situations
