Pay: $35.00/hour - $37.00/hour (Paid weekly)

 

Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities & Qualifications

 

Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician with critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to join our team!

 

Pay: $35.00/hour - $37.00/hour (Paid weekly)

 

Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery in the Healthcare Laundry Industry.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery (high volume washing machines/dryers, irons, folding equipment)
  • Write, maintain, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
  • Complete daily reports via FMX
  • Interface with HMI’s, access/read PLC programs and program as PLC’s as required 
  • Communicate with Production Associates and Management
  • Compliant with all ImageFIRST safety guidelines
  • Team Player that can work effectively with maintenance team and production associates 
  • Perform duties in a high-volume facility while maintaining professional approach in an environment that is reflective of processes that include industrial washers/dryers/irons 
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working knowledge, education or experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Electrical/PLC systems – ability to diagnose/troubleshoot problems and implement solutions (primary skill)
    • Mechanical systems - ability to diagnose/troubleshoot problems and implement solutions (primary skill)
    • Facilities – including HVAC, plumbing, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum of 3 years) in electrical/mechanical systems 
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
  • Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
  • Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
  • Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots
  • Ability to work in an environment reflective of seasonal changes (i.e. warm in summer months)
